A mysterious triangular aircraft, dubbed the 'Dorito' by UFO enthusiasts, has been spotted flying over the notorious Area 51 military base in Nevada, sparking fresh speculation about unidentified flying objects and secret government operations.
Videographer Captures Eerie Nighttime Sighting
Off-grid explorer and videographer Anders Otteson made the unusual discovery while recording his desert expedition near the secretive military installation on January 14. At approximately 3am local time, Otteson noticed an unidentified aircraft flying above the restricted area that appeared distinctly different from conventional military planes.
"Are we looking at a classified test flight or run-of-the-mill training sortie? I certainly think we have something interesting here," Otteson commented about his discovery.
The videographer, who operates the YouTube channel Uncanny Expeditions, described the object as having an "equilateral triangle" shape without visible wings or traditional tailing edges. He noted that he had observed a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber flying over the same area approximately two hours earlier, but this new sighting presented a completely different configuration.

This isn't the first time Otteson claims to have witnessed similar triangular aircraft. The videographer reported seeing what he described as "an as yet unacknowledged triangle-shaped aircraft" on two previous occasions - once in 2014 over Wichita, Kansas, and another time near Amarillo, Texas.
