An anonymous TikTok account, @timevoyagin, claims to be run by a real time traveller and has shared what it says are photographs of the start and end of World War Three. The user tells followers they are a "real time traveler" and are "now allowed" to reveal images from future events, adding that another worldwide conflict is "coming soon."
In a follow-up video, the account says it holds "photographic evidence" of a third world war and shows pictures described as the beginning and conclusion of a colossal future battle.
Pictures of how it begins and ends
In the clip, the user wrote: "ATTENTION! Yes, I am a real time traveller, World War III was the most liked comment. So as I promised I would do, here are pictures of how it began and how it ended."
The first image shows an enormous explosion above an unrecognised city. Further photographs appear to show coordinated detonations in a laboratory and similar blasts happening around the world. The final images show Earth from space, entirely destroyed.
The time traveller also claims that, in the future, the conflict will force humans to abandon the planet and move to a new world called "Planet Delta."
Viewers divided over the 'evidence'
Many social media users remain unconvinced, arguing the images prove nothing. One person said: "Those are obviously AI generated". Another added: "Fake as hell!". A third asked: "So how is this proof if it's CGI? also, you see how they are super selective on who they reply to because they know they are lying."
Others, however, took the images more seriously. One person said: "We're dead." While another added: "That looks scary".
Previous extraordinary claims
This is not the first time the TikToker has made a far-fetched assertion. In earlier videos, they have claimed that extraterrestrials built the pyramids, that the Titanic was intentionally sunk, and that a UFO recently touched down near Area 51.
