Influencer Clavicular Hospitalised After Suspected Overdose During Livestream
Social media personality Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, has confirmed he is now home after being rushed to hospital following a suspected overdose. The alarming incident occurred during a disturbing livestream that suddenly cut out on Tuesday night, sparking widespread concern among his followers.
Disturbing Livestream Incident
The 20-year-old influencer, known for his controversial "looksmaxxing" content, was participating in a livestream on the Kick platform when the situation escalated dramatically. During the broadcast from a Miami club, Clavicular began slurring his speech and holding his head while colleagues attempted to assist him. A glass of water was placed before him moments before he appeared to slump over the table, after which the stream abruptly terminated.
According to police reports, emergency services received a call at approximately 8:45pm Eastern Time on Tuesday night regarding a 20-year-old man experiencing an overdose on South Miami Avenue in Miami. Clavicular, who matches this description, was confirmed to be at the location when the incident occurred.
Medical Emergency and Recovery
Following the livestream interruption, videos circulated on social media showing what appeared to be a limp Clavicular being carried to an ambulance by two men. The influencer later revealed on his X account (formerly Twitter) that his condition was serious enough to require a life support mask during treatment.
"Just got home, that was brutal," Clavicular wrote alongside a selfie showing visible red markings on his face. "All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn't a real solution. The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask."
The influencer, who has previously disclosed he has autism, admitted to using substances to feel "neurotypical" in public settings. Early Wednesday morning, reporter Taylor Lorenz confirmed Clavicular was in stable condition but remained in and out of consciousness after experiencing a seizure.
Controversial Online Presence
Clavicular has gained notoriety for promoting extreme "looksmaxxing" techniques, encouraging young men to enhance their appearance through controversial methods including facial "bone smashing" and steroid use. He has admitted to taking testosterone since age 14 and there have been persistent rumors about methamphetamine use to suppress appetite and achieve specific body proportions.
The influencer's philosophy overlaps with beliefs associated with incel (involuntary celibate) communities, though he has publicly distanced himself from such groups. During a recent interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Clavicular became defensive when questioned about connections to incel ideology, stating: "I'm not linked to that group in any way. Looksmaxxing is self-improvement, right?"
Association with Controversial Figures
Clavicular has been photographed with several controversial personalities, including social media figure Andrew Tate, who faces criminal investigations in both the United Kingdom and Romania for alleged human trafficking operations. In January, Clavicular was spotted at a Miami nightclub with Tate and white nationalist commentator Nick Fuentes.
When questioned about these associations during the 60 Minutes interview, Clavicular abruptly ended the conversation, stating "all right, have a nice day" before walking away from the interview.
Recent Legal Troubles
The influencer's recent hospitalisation follows legal issues earlier this year. On March 26, Clavicular was arrested near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a misdemeanor assault charge connected to an Osceola County Sheriff's Office warrant from March 9.
Reporter Taylor Lorenz, who first confirmed the arrest, suggested the charge might relate to a physical altercation involving Clavicular's girlfriend Violet and fellow influencer Jenny Popach. The incident occurred during a Kick livestream earlier this year that attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers, showing the two women hitting and pulling each other's hair before being separated.
Clavicular was taken into custody after being filmed unloading a gun on a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades, though authorities confirmed his arrest was unrelated to this video content.
