Shirtless Conspiracy Theorist Launches Explosive Tirade Against Parody News Site

A furious and shirtless Alex Jones erupted into an unhinged rant on Monday after learning that The Onion had gained rights to lease his controversial platform InfoWars. The conspiracy theorist, naked from the waist up, described the parody news website as a group of "bodysnatchers" during his explosive outburst captured on video.

"Just because you're wearing my shirt doesn't mean you're me, let's be 100 percent clear about that," Jones raged during his impassioned tirade. He continued with escalating anger: "The whole thing's about defaming me. You can't take something over and then act like you're somebody, even if you say it's a parody. You could do a parody of somebody, but not if you took something from them... So you guys, keep laughing, just like you did a year and a half ago."

Satirical Transformation Plans Spark Controversy

Jones' dramatic outburst came shortly after The Onion revealed its planned relaunch of InfoWars as a satirical website, though the arrangement still requires court approval for finalisation. The outlet's parent company, Global Tetrahedron, has secured rights to lease InfoWars for $81,000 on a month-by-month basis for six months, with potential renewal options available.

If approved by the court, The Onion intends to use the licensing agreement to "transform one of the internet's most notorious misinformation platforms into a new comedy network built for satire, internet culture and emerging creative voices," according to their official press release statement.

Jones Accuses Political Opponents of 'Skin-Walking'

During his extended Monday rant, Jones escalated his accusations against The Onion and broader political opponents. "This is what the left does," Jones fumed. "They try to silence you, then they misrepresent who you are. They're bodysnatchers. They're skin-walkers. They literally take your skin. This is gonna backfire big time folks."

The controversial figure's bankruptcy declaration in 2022 paved the way for The Onion's interest in acquiring his platform in subsequent years. InfoWars went up for auction in 2024 after Jones failed to pay Sandy Hook families $1 billion for spreading misinformation about the tragic school shooting, according to Mediaite reports.

Court Proceedings and Creative Plans Underway

Gregory Milligan, the court-appointed manager for the InfoWars site, has asked Texas-based District Court Judge Maya Guerra Gamble to approve the licensing agreement, The New York Times reported. The Onion CEO Ben Collins plans to make InfoWars a parody of itself, with comedian Tim Heidecker reportedly set to play the role of Jones in the satirical transformation.

"This is about accountability, and what comes next," Collins said in a statement shared with The Independent. "We're taking something that caused real harm and turning it into something much funnier, and ideally, more useful." The proposed arrangement represents a significant shift for the controversial platform that has faced numerous legal challenges and public controversies over its conspiracy content.
