A woman has been left in stitches after ordering an ironing board from Temu, only for it to arrive comically small. The shopper, known as the Alabama Lotto Lady on TikTok, shared her experience under the username Susie, recounting how the ironing board was just six inches long.
Susie explained in her video that she had ordered both an iron and an ironing board from the Chinese-owned e-commerce platform. To her surprise, the items were miniature versions of what she expected. 'The ironing board may have been six inches long and the iron was that small also,' she said, adding that she became 'the laughing stock' among friends for weeks.
Despite the mishap, Susie remains a fan of Temu, praising its low prices. 'If something doesn't fit, it didn't cost you anything. Just throw it away. It's not worth you returning it,' she advised. Her video has since gone viral, prompting other shoppers to share their own Temu fails.
One commenter joked, 'I will bring you a bag of stuff that didn't work, you bring me your bag of stuff that didn't work.' Another said, 'Tons and tons and tons. I have two orders coming now.' Temu's purchase protection program offers refunds for items that arrive damaged or not as described, though customers may need to return the item.
