Motorola has confirmed the UK release of its Signature 27 premium smartphone, with pre-orders opening on November 16. The device is positioned as a direct competitor to Samsung's Android dominance, packing a next-generation Qualcomm processor, a 7000mAh battery, and a 100X Super Zoom camera.
Premium specs and performance
The Signature 27 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, announced in September. Motorola says the processor offers increased power, AI advancements, and greater efficiency for extended battery life. The phone also features an Extreme AMOLED Duo display, which the company claims is the brightest on any phone.
On the rear, a quad camera system with a main Sony lens includes a 100X Super Zoom and the first-ever dedicated EVS action sensor on a smartphone for improved motion photography. The camera has received a Gold Label for image quality from DXOMARK.
Audio, battery, and extras
Audio is enhanced with speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen, promising deeper bass and clearer vocals. The 7000mAh battery is 35 percent larger than the previous generation. Other features include Wi-Fi 8 support, Google Gemini smart features, and an ArcticMesh cooling system. The phone also includes Motorola Qira, a built-in AI system for connected experiences across Motorola and Lenovo devices.
The Signature 27 comes in PANTONE Coal Smoke and PANTONE Capulet Olive, priced at £1,299.
