Dyson has launched its first-ever hot air brush, the Airsmooth, priced at £199.99. Designed to stretch and smooth hair from wet to dry, it aims to deliver blow-outs that look professionally styled while being the most affordable tool in the company's hair care lineup.
Simpler Design, Lower Price
The Airsmooth strips back the features of the renowned Airwrap, which costs £379.99 on Dyson.co.uk. At £380 less, it focuses solely on creating a smoother, bouncy blow-dry, cutting out the interchangeable drying attachments. For those who have used the Airwrap for years, combining drying and styling in one tool—like the Airstrait (£300, Dyson.co.uk)—is a game-changing approach.
Dual Bristle System and Heat Protection
The Airsmooth uses PivotFlex™ bristles to diffuse airflow from its base for improved scalp comfort, along with Anti-snag bristles that glide through hair with less breakage. This dual bristle system is designed to guide hair rather than fight against it, built on the foundation of 'less damage'.
The tool comes with four heat and three speed settings, plus intelligent heat control technology that measures air temperature over 20 times a second to protect hair from extreme heat damage.
International Use
A new feature for Dyson products is international use. Following the Supersonic Travel hair dryer (£250, Dyson.co.uk) released in July, the Airsmooth is also engineered for global travel, built with global voltage (240V), making it the only tool needed while travelling.
