The Cuisinart ClearView 8-in-1 Air Fryer has won over a self-confessed air fryer enthusiast, thanks to its two glass panels and interior light that let you watch food cook without opening the drawer and losing heat.
Scott Da Silva-Wells, writing for Metro, tested the machine after previously using a double-drawer model. He praised its generous 8.5L capacity, which allows food to be spread out for even cooking, and its ability to heat up quickly – ready to bake croissants within a minute.
Tested with Chicken and Roast Potatoes
The first meal tested was grilled chicken and roast potatoes. The potatoes came out golden, crunchy, and soft in the middle, while the chicken stayed moist and tender. Despite concerns about cooking both ingredients together, the large drawer ensured even cooking.
The model offers five cooking functions – air fry, roast, grill, max crisp, and dehydrate – plus three smart presets for pizza, recrisp, and keep warm. It can reach temperatures up to 230°C, higher than many models that max out at 200°C.
Keep Warm and Shake Reminder Features
The keep warm function held food at serving temperature for up to 30 minutes, keeping it warm but not hot. A shake reminder gently alerts you when to turn or mix food for a more even bake.
Cleaning is straightforward: the non-stick basket is PFAS-free and dishwasher-safe, and the interior can be wiped down. The reviewer said there was nothing they would change about the air fryer and plans to test it further when hosting.
