Amazon has cut prices across its Fire TV Stick range, with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max now available for £44.99, down from £69.99. The Fire TV Stick HD has been reduced to £24.99 (was £39.99), and the standard 4K edition is now £34.99 (was £59.99). The discounts match those seen during Amazon's Spring Day Deals last month.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max offers 16GB of storage—double that of other models—and supports 4K Ultra HD streaming with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio. It also features Wi-Fi 6E for smoother streaming and hands-free Alexa voice control. Users can access apps including Netflix, Apple TV+, Prime Video, Disney+, Spotify, and Amazon Music, as well as games via Amazon Luna.
The device has over 8,700 five-star reviews on Amazon. One customer said: 'I recently upgraded my Amazon Fire TV Stick, and I’m thrilled with how it’s transformed my TV-watching experience!' Another wrote: 'Fantastic device. Now only have Fire Stick and broadband. Should have ditched TV package years ago and saved a fortune.'
However, some users reported issues. One said: 'My last one kept on freezing when launching Prime. Turns out the new one does it as well.' Another complained about limited customisation and security features, noting that items cannot be removed from the apps list and there is no pin protection on bootup.
For those seeking alternatives, the Roku Express 4K is also available at a reduced price on Amazon.
