The Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester City takes place at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Sunday, marking the first time the match has been held in the Welsh capital in 20 years.
The game pits the Premier League champions against the FA Cup winners, with Arsenal having edged out City in last season's title race. City's draw against Bournemouth in their penultimate match handed the title to Mikel Arteta's side.
Why Cardiff instead of Wembley?
The switch from Wembley is due to a scheduling clash, as The Weeknd's 'After Hours til Dawn' tour is taking place at the London stadium on the same day. Cardiff previously hosted the Community Shield, FA Cup finals and EFL Cup finals between 2001 and 2007 while the old Wembley was being rebuilt.
City will have a new manager in Enzo Maresca, who has succeeded Pep Guardiola. Maresca said: "Arsenal have shown in the last two or three or four, five years, that they are always there. It is a fantastic team from Mikel. Last year, they won the Premier League, they showed how good they are in this moment. But at the same time, we are City and we're going to try to close the gap and compete."

Arteta added: "I think we've been able to tick a lot of boxes. Obviously, the circumstances of the World Cup and the amount of players that we had abroad have brought some constraints, but there are a lot of learnings to take and we're going to be ready for Sunday."
The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday, August 16, at the Principality Stadium. It will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate, as the Community Shield is no longer on free-to-air TV.
