Parkdean Resorts is bringing music-filled Celebrity Weekender mini-breaks to two Welsh holiday parks this autumn, with three-night packages starting from £179. What to expect at the Welsh Celebrity Weekenders
The short breaks are designed to add extra excitement to an autumn getaway, with live performances, DJ sets and themed activities. Guests can also enjoy the parks' usual facilities, including amusement arcades, arts and crafts, and adventure golf. While children are allowed, some activities and entertainment may be restricted for younger guests, making the weekends particularly suited to adults seeking a nostalgic break.
90s Weekender at Ty Mawr Holiday Park, Conwy
Vernon Kay will host a DJ set at Ty Mawr's 90s Weekender, joined by performances from Big Brovaz, Booty Luv, Honeyz and A1. Re-Take That will perform boyband hits, while a live rock show celebrates female artists from the alternative music scene of the era. The event starts November 20, with three-night breaks from £193. Guests have praised the park for its friendly staff and entertainment, though one reviewer noted the restaurant was too expensive.
Disco for Grown-Ups at Trecco Bay Holiday Park, Porthcawl
Trecco Bay's Disco for Grown-Ups weekend features Steps' Claire Richards and Ian 'H' Watkins, alongside Gareth Gates and Bucks Fizz stars Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston. Dick and Dom will also take to the decks for a DJ set. The event starts November 13, with three-night breaks from £194. Guests described the Celebrity Weekender as "brilliant" and "amazing", though one complained that caravan check-in was too late in the afternoon.
Parkdean is also hosting further themed weekends at parks in England, including Boybands vs Girlbands and 90s vs 00s events at Vauxhall Holiday Park, a Hitman weekend at Sandford Holiday Park, and an eighties-themed weekend at Cayton Bay Holiday Park. Prices and entertainment vary by park and weekend, so guests should check the individual packages on the Parkdean website before booking.
