The 37-year-old former heavyweight world champion is staying active after calling it quits last year following back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, then returning to defeat Arslanbek Makhmudov on points in April.
Wach, 46, is an experienced opponent who has faced many top names but was beaten comfortably by Viktor Vykhryst in his last bout. Fury's decision to fight in front of few spectators in Thailand marks an unusual setting for the fighter known for selling out stadiums and arenas.
