The organisers of the Reminisce and Retrospective festivals in St Helens have released the list of items prohibited at the events, along with rules on food, drink, and camping chairs.
Festival line-up changes
Retrospective Festival will begin on Friday, September 11, at Sherdley Park, with two nights of 80s, 90s, and 00s music. Following the cancellation of Boyzlife, B*Witched will now perform, along with The Fizz, Carol Decker of TPau, Reminisce Classical Orchestra, Nadine Coyle, and Heather Small.
Pete Waterman will host the event, and Pat Sharp will provide a party DJ set. In Demand Radio will serve as the official radio partner, broadcasting exclusive content with the artists and DJs.
Reminisce Festival returns
Reminisce Festival will follow on Saturday, September 12, featuring iconic club artists, DJs, and performers. The lineup spans classic dance, trance, hardcore, clubland, and pop crossover favourites.
Banned items and restrictions
Prohibited items include illegal substances, weapons, glass containers, large umbrellas, professional cameras, selfie sticks, covert recording equipment, and facial recognition technology such as "Meta glasses." Medical masks and infection-control masks are allowed, but novelty or eye-covering masks are prohibited.
Attendees may bring one camping chair, though it is not advised, as larger items will delay entry due to enhanced searches. Outside food and drink are not permitted, with options available inside the festival grounds. More details are on the Reminisce and Retrospective website.
