Form and what to watch for
Barcelona have scored 34 goals in eight La Liga games this season and nine goals in two Champions League outings. Hansi Flick's side sit five points clear at the top of the table. Real Betis, meanwhile, are only two points off Barcelona's pace over the last five league games and have not lost in seven matches, a run that includes a win over Real Madrid.
Barcelona can become the first team to win their first nine games of a La Liga season since Real Madrid in 1968-69. Despite their attacking output, their defensive vulnerability has been exposed more than once this season.
Real Betis have scored 12 times in their last five games. Manuel Pellegrini's side have the attacking quality to hurt the leaders, but the question is whether they can keep things tight at the back to keep Barcelona out.
Player to watch
Anthony Gordon has scored in each of his last five games for club and country. The English winger has become Barcelona's primary source of verticality down the left side and is expected to start against Betis.
