Napoli coach Max Allegri said: "[The Champions League] is a different competition from Serie A, a sort of mini-league, where we need 12 points to secure qualification for the next round."
He added: "Arsenal are the Champions League finalists and won the Premier League, Mikel Arteta has done an extraordinary job in the last four years. We know the difficulties of this match, which we must go into with pride and the desire to do well."
Arteta said: "We are very happy and we need to continue to raise the bar and look to improve every single time because there are still a lot of margins to do so. We need to enjoy the victory (against Chelsea) because it was a big one today."
