Fury vs Joshua tickets: VIP packages remain as seats sell out

Boxing fans are rapidly running out of time to snap up the opportunity to see the highly anticipated fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Despite tickets only going on sale today (October 9), many seat tiers have already been completely sold out.

Following a decade of speculation, the British boxers will meet at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday, 11 December, with fans able to purchase tickets here. The contest will see two former world champions go head-to-head, both considered among the greatest fighters of their era.

Champions' credentials

Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) cemented his legendary reputation when he captured the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles by defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) claimed gold in the super heavyweight category at the London 2012 Olympics before embarking on a professional career that saw him become a two-time unified heavyweight world champion.

Tickets for Joshua and Fury went on sale at 12pm, with December's match already proving incredibly popular. Fortunately, while General Admissions are sold out, there is still a way to get your hands on the VIP packages.

How to buy tickets

Seat Unique is offering official tickets with VIP and hospitality packages, which is currently the best way to get the tickets after many others have already begun selling out. Despite being pricier than standard tickets, they come with extra perks, such as complimentary food and drink.

Better yet, Seat Unique's tickets often provide early entry to the event and access to the exclusive lounge areas before and throughout the fight. However, perks can vary, so it's always worth double-checking before you book your ticket.

Otherwise, you may still have a chance to grab tickets via Ticketmaster. Prices at the provider start at £75 but can cost more depending on your choice. After the general sale, tickets may appear on secondary platforms like viagogo, where people can sell their tickets to other fans. These can be priced above face value, but may be found cheaper nearer to the fight, depending on availability through official channels.
