Celtic will open their Europa League campaign with a home match against Ferencvaros at Parkhead on Thursday, September 17. The fixture list for the league phase was confirmed after UEFA took extra days to finalise the schedule.
Opponents and travel plans
The Hoops learned earlier this week that they would face Benfica, Marseille, and others in the league phase. Martin O'Neill's side will make two trips to Portugal, taking on Benfica and second-division Torreense, who qualified for Europe after a cup win over Sporting last season.
Celtic's other opponents include Union SG, Celta Vigo, Omonia Nicosia, and Besiktas.
