Martin Brundle makes cheeky Kim Kardashian quip as she cheers on Lewis Hamilton
Brundle quips about Kardashian at Singapore GP sprint

Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle made a cheeky remark about Kim Kardashian after the reality TV star appeared on screen at the Singapore Grand Prix sprint race to support Lewis Hamilton. Kardashian caught the eye in a bright pink, high-neck dress as she watched the action, later heading to the Ferrari garage to follow the race.

Kardashian and Hamilton's relationship

The pair, who had been friends for years before their relationship turned romantic, went public with their romance earlier this year. Their relationship has attracted plenty of attention, with romance rumours first emerging in February after reports they had enjoyed a luxury getaway at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds.

Speculation intensified that same month when Kardashian and Hamilton were spotted arriving at a hotel in Paris before enjoying dinner at nearby restaurant Aqua Kyoto. The high-profile couple were later seen together at the 2026 Super Bowl, further fuelling interest in their blossoming romance. Kardashian has now been spotted in Singapore ahead of Sunday's big race.

Brundle's cheeky comment

When the reality TV star appeared on screen during the sprint, Brundle made a cheeky remark, saying: "I did try once." The comment referred to Kardashian snubbing Brundle during his memorable pre-race grid walk at the Monaco Grand Prix in June.

The presenter introduced himself to Kardashian before asking: "How are you today?" She briefly glanced at him before turning her attention back to her sister. Brundle then attempted to continue the conversation, asking: "Normally people will have a quick chat with us, are you enjoying F1?" After receiving no response, Brundle quipped: "Okay, Kim and Khloe, so we're not talking today. I like to believe they might do…"

Hamilton's sprint race performance

Meanwhile, Hamilton enjoyed a strong sprint race in Singapore, finishing second behind Max Verstappen after making an impressive start. The Ferrari driver was pleased with his recovery and admitted he briefly thought he could challenge for victory before settling for valuable points.

Speaking after the sprint race, Hamilton said: "A really good recovery and a good start. The start in particular was mega. You may not know, but when you pull away on the formation lap, you get a feeling. Normally we're on new tyres in the dry so the wheel just spins but today, when we pulled away, there was not a lot of grid and straight away I was like, 'I have to change my process.'"

"I decided to make an adjustment to how I was going to do the start, not knowing if I was really going to pull it off. But, as soon as the lights went out and I engaged that technique, then I was part everybody. It really felt amazing. After that, I saw George was off and I was second. I had the pace on Max and I was like, 'Maybe I can win this thing.'"

"But overtaking here is very difficult, obviously, so I had to maximise the points. Second and third is great for the team, but we need to qualify better. If we qualify better this afternoon, hopefully we can be more in the fight in probably a dry race tomorrow."

Kardashian is expected to be in attendance again to watch Hamilton in action for Sunday's race in Singapore. The Brit driver's most recent win was the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on June 14, where he claimed his first victory for Ferrari and his 106th career win.
