The 2026 World Cup has set a new all-time attendance record for the men's tournament, surpassing the previous record of 3,587,538 set during the 1994 World Cup – and the group stages have only just ended.
As ever, fans have brought colour and fun to the tournament – from Mexico's duck mascot to Norway's Viking rowers, with plenty more in between. Here are a selection of our favourite images of fans at the matches and at watch parties across the globe.
Group A: Czechia, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea
Fans from these nations displayed vibrant flags and traditional attire, with Mexican supporters notably donning sombreros and face paint.
Group B: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Qatar, Switzerland
Swiss fans waved red-and-white flags while Qatari supporters showcased their national dress.
Group C: Brazil, Haiti, Morocco, Scotland
Brazilian fans brought their signature samba drums and yellow jerseys, while Scottish supporters wore kilts and wigs.
Group D: Australia, Paraguay, Turkey, United States
Australian fans sported green and gold, and US supporters waved stars and stripes.

According to FIFA, the 2026 World Cup has already drawn over 3.6 million spectators across the group stage, with several matches selling out. The previous attendance record of 3,587,538 was set during the 1994 World Cup in the United States.
