Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly as they continue their search for a left-back before the transfer window closes, according to The Independent.
United are understood to retain a long-standing interest in the England Under-21 international and are assessing whether Arsenal would consider offers should their squad plans change later in the summer.
Late-season rise
Lewis-Skelly's future appeared less secure during parts of last season when regular first-team opportunities were limited, but he ended the campaign as an important figure under Mikel Arteta. The 19-year-old started the Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and played a key role in the closing stages as Arsenal secured the Premier League title.
