With four days left in the summer transfer window, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are racing to finalise deals before Tuesday's deadline.
The most significant potential moves include Julian Alvarez joining Arsenal, Liverpool booking a medical for Bradley Barcola, and Enzo Fernandez pushing to join Manchester City.
Arsenal Handed Alvarez Deadline
Arsenal have been given a Sunday deadline to complete the signing of Julian Alvarez, allowing Atletico Madrid time to secure a replacement. The Gunners have been linked with Gabriel Jesus in a transfer twist, while fresh links with Marcus Rashford have emerged as Gabriel Martinelli heads to Saudi Arabia.
Liverpool have missed out on Ibrahim Mbaye but are still pushing to sign Ismailia Sarr before the deadline. Chelsea are set to announce the arrivals of Emi Martinez and Honest Ahanor, and could sign Lamine Camara and Alex Scott if Fernandez leaves. Tottenham remain keen on Cody Gakpo as their final signing of the window.
Barcola Set for Liverpool Medical
Bradley Barcola is ready to undergo his Liverpool medical after Paris Saint-Germain accepted a bid worth more than £110 million. The 23-year-old is expected to travel to Merseyside once he gets the green light from PSG, which is imminent. Only minor details remain as Liverpool wrap up a third deal worth over £100 million in just over a year.
Due to registration requirements, Barcola will not be available for Liverpool's game against Nottingham Forest. His debut is earmarked for the away match against Ipswich on Friday, September 4.
Ogunneye Imminent at Arsenal
Habeeb Ogunneye has bid farewell to Manchester United ahead of completing a transfer to Arsenal. Standard Sport understands Arsenal have secured the defender after reaching a full agreement with Man United last week. Ogunneye was at Arsenal's training ground last Thursday for a medical, and the 20-year-old right-back will sign on a free transfer including a 40 per cent sell-on clause.
Ogunneye will primarily be involved with the Arsenal under-21s but is also set to train with the first-team. He confirmed the move with a farewell post to Man Utd on Instagram.
Chelsea Learn Camara Price
Chelsea have been told how much it will cost to sign Lamine Camara this summer. Standard Sport understands the Blues are considering an opening offer for the Monaco midfielder before Tuesday's deadline. Crystal Palace had a bid worth around £43 million rejected earlier in the summer, and reports in France claim Monaco are holding out for €60 million (£51 million).
Chelsea youngster Kendry Paez has had his loan spell with River Plate terminated. The 19-year-old is heading back to Chelsea earlier than expected to discuss his next steps.
Jesus Offered to Atletico
Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been offered to Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain. Marca claim that while there has been contact between Atletico and the Brazilian, any potential deal has nothing to do with Julian Alvarez. Standard Sport understands Arsenal are open to selling Jesus before the end of the window and want up to £20 million.
Patrice Evra believes Manchester United need to move on from Luke Shaw. "I love Luke Shaw, but I love Man United even more, that's why I'm saying they need another left-back," he said. "Patrick Dorgu is not a left-back, he's a left-winger."
