Playland Fun Park Named UK's Most Affordable Theme Park
Playland Fun Park: UK's Most Affordable Theme Park

Playland Fun Park in Worcestershire has been named the UK's most affordable theme park for the third consecutive year, offering families a budget-friendly day out. With no admission charge and a pay-per-ride system starting at just £1, a family of four can save at least £100 compared to larger theme parks.

Attractions and Activities

The family-run park in Stourport-on-Severn features classic amusements such as go-karts, crazy golf, and bumper boats. Rides, including a pirate ship and a safari train, are designed for younger children, while self-drive boats and a large paddling pool offer opportunities to enjoy the sunshine.

For energetic kids, there are trampolines, bouncy castles, and a skate park. Recent additions include Dino Tours, where visitors can drive their own explorer through a dinosaur-themed track, and a farmyard area with ride-on animals.

Dining and Nearby Attractions

Refreshments are available at various stalls and kiosks, or visitors can bring their own picnic. The park's location in a picturesque canal area means guests can also explore local eateries off-site. Across the road, Treasure Island offers fairground rides suitable for slightly older children, and the River Severn is nearby for a stroll or nature-spotting walk.
