German publication BILD has named the quartet of players under consideration at Anfield. The list features some of European football's most exciting attacking talent: Michael Olise of Bayern Munich, Kenan Yildiz from Juventus, Rodrygo of Real Madrid, and Everton's Iliman Ndiaye.
Journalist Tobias Altschaffl commented on the shortlist, stating: "Michael Olise is on this backup list. Along with three other names: Kenan Yildiz from Juventus, Rodrygo from Real Madrid, and Iliman Ndiaye from Everton."
Major Obstacles for Key Targets
While the ambition is clear, securing these players presents significant challenges. Regarding top target Michael Olise, Altschaffl added a note of caution for Liverpool fans: "Bayern are very confident that Olise won't leave. Why would they let him go?"
The French winger has been in stellar form since his high-profile move from Crystal Palace, contributing 29 goals and 34 assists in 76 appearances for the Bundesliga giants, making a January exit seem improbable.
A move for Everton's Iliman Ndiaye is also considered highly unlikely due to the intense Merseyside rivalry. The last direct transfer between Liverpool and Everton occurred back in 2002, highlighting the historical difficulty of such a deal.

The prospect of signing Real Madrid's Rodrygo is fraught with complexity.
