Liverpool's Four-Man January Transfer Shortlist Revealed

Liverpool are reportedly drawing up a four-man shortlist for the January transfer window as Arne Slot looks to strengthen his attacking options. According to German outlet BILD, the Reds are considering Michael Olise, Kenan Yildiz, Rodrygo, and Iliman Ndiaye as potential targets.

Bayern Munich's Michael Olise is on the list, but journalist Tobias Altschaffl said the German club are confident he will not leave. Olise has impressed since his move from Crystal Palace, scoring 29 goals and providing 34 assists in 76 appearances for Bayern.

Iliman Ndiaye of Everton is another target, but a direct transfer between the Merseyside rivals is considered highly unlikely. The last such move occurred in 2002. Real Madrid's Rodrygo has been linked amid uncertainty over his playing time, while Juventus's Kenan Yildiz, 20, has established himself as a regular and represents a long-term investment.

Liverpool's forward line has struggled to gel following a summer of significant changes, and the club may also look to bolster their defence. The shortlist highlights the calibre of player being targeted, with each capable of making an immediate impact while still having years ahead of them.
