Michael Carrick has told four Manchester United youngsters that first-team minutes will be hard to come by, allowing them to leave this summer as he reshapes his squad.
According to reports, the quartet includes left-back Harry Amass, midfielders Dan Gore and Toby Collyer, and goalkeeper Radek Vitek.
Youngsters Set for Exit
Harry Amass spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich but will be let go despite impressive pre-season performances. Dan Gore was on loan at Rotherham, while Toby Collyer could return to Hull City after their promotion. Goalkeeper Radek Vitek, after a successful loan at Bristol City, is keen to move permanently.
Vitek told reporters after United's defeat to Wrexham: "I feel great and ready to go again somewhere to hopefully be No1. I hope there will be some interest. I think you will know when the things are more concrete. There's been a few interests on the table, but we're hoping to get the best one and hopefully it will happen soon. I want to play every week and that's the goal for next season. Hopefully I find out soon where that's going to be."
Further Squad Overhaul
United are also open to offers for senior players like Joshua Zirkzee, attracting interest from Juventus, and Marcus Rashford, who faces an uncertain future after a loan at Barcelona. Rashford expressed gratitude to Barca on social media.
The club have already bolstered their squad with midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, and goalkeeper Karl Darlow as backup. Further additions in midfield are being considered.
