Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, joining Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United in pursuit of the 23-year-old attacking midfielder. The German champions are admirers of Rogers, who impressed in the Champions League for Villa last season, and could offer him a move abroad as part of Vincent Kompany's high-scoring side.
Rogers has been a revelation since joining Villa from Middlesbrough in February 2024, recording 24 goals and 23 assists since the start of last season. His form earned him a new contract in November and the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Season award, but interest from top clubs has persisted.
Arsenal and Manchester United are keen to add a left-sided forward, with Rogers comfortable in several attacking positions. Chelsea also retain strong interest after pursuing him last summer. However, Villa would demand a minimum of £80 million to part with the England star, whose value could rise further with a strong World Cup showing.
Villa would be reluctant to lose Rogers but selling him for a mammoth sum would help soothe financial concerns. Arsenal may need to sell either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli to finance a move, while United are also targeting a left winger and midfield overhaul under a new permanent manager.
