Arsenal are reportedly in discussions to offload Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira, with Fulham keen to re-sign Nelson on loan and Parma interested in a permanent move for Vieira. The Gunners have already spent over £70 million this summer on Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with further deals expected to push total spending beyond £200 million. To balance the books, Arsenal are looking to move on several players.
According to a report from The Times, Fulham want to bring Nelson back to Craven Cottage after his loan spell last season was cut short by a hamstring injury. The winger, who earns £100,000 per week and is under contract until June 2027, impressed Fulham boss Marco Silva before his injury. Silva described Nelson as a 'really important' player who 'fits really well' and expressed disappointment over his season-ending injury.
Meanwhile, Fabio Vieira could be set for a reunion with former Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Cuesta, who recently became Parma's head coach. The Serie A side are reportedly eyeing a £20 million swoop for the midfielder. Arsenal have already seen Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos make permanent moves to Lazio and Cruzeiro, while Jorginho, Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, and Takehiro Tomiyasu have been released this summer.
