Scotland take on Haiti in Boston in their first World Cup match for almost three decades. The nation is hitting fever pitch as Steve Clarke's side prepare for the Group C opener at Gillette Stadium.
Fan Excitement Builds in Boston
The Tartan Army has descended on Boston in force, with thousands of fans already celebrating ahead of the historic match. Fans gathered at Rowes Wharf for a boat party, with many donning kilts and Scotland tops despite the early start.
Chris Gibson, 50, from Maud in Aberdeenshire, helped organise the cruise for over 200 fans. He said: "I've got a nervous energy. Just the game, how the team are performing - but I'm excited and I know a few beers on the boat will calm my nerves."
Ewan Oman, 28, a plumber from Peterhead, added: "It's been the trip of a lifetime already. We flew into New York. We've been to Mike Tyson's local to see where he keeps his racing pigeons - it's been mental."
Jason Cundy Stirs Controversy
Former Scotland star Charlie Adam was left unimpressed after talkSPORT presenter Jason Cundy wore a Haiti shirt on air. Cundy claimed he randomly pulled the shirt from a bag of all 48 World Cup teams, but Adam and fellow pundit Jermaine Pennant accused him of a deliberate stunt.
Pennant labelled Cundy "a disgrace," while Adam said: "I thought this was a good radio station. To be fair, I think this is the most we have ever spoke about Scotland on this radio show and for him to produce that, nah, I'm finished with him."

Double Success for Scotland on the Oche
Scotland have already tasted World Cup success today in darts. Gary Anderson and Cameron Menzies teamed up to crush Norway and set up a quarter-final against Ireland. Menzies said: "A World Cup double? That'd be great! At one point I was going to think I could play up front for Scotland."
Kick-Off Approaching
With an estimated 30,000 Scottish fans in Boston, the atmosphere is electric. Kick-off is at 2am UK time, and supporters are hopeful that Scotland can start their campaign with a win. As Kenny Hall, a 61-year-old retired police officer from East Lothian, put it: "It's unbelievable to be here. The locals have been absolutely fantastic."
