Gorgeous Mr George, trained by Dylan Cunha, is Newsboy's Nap for Friday's meeting at Great Yarmouth. The four-year-old son of Galileo Gold has an outstanding record at the track, with four wins and three second places from 11 starts. He returns to Norfolk after a convincing victory last time out, winning by two and a quarter lengths under Taryn Langley. Despite a 5lb penalty raising his rating to a career-high 80, Gorgeous Mr George is expected to prove up to the task in the Winning Experience With Moulton Racing Handicap (11.30).
Belle Amie Shines at Newmarket
At Newmarket, Belle Amie is the next best selection (nb) in the Turners Apprentice Handicap (8.45). The David Simcock-trained filly has been in excellent form this season, winning two of her three starts, including a three-and-three-quarter-length romp at Bath. Although a 6lb rise in the weights presents a challenge, Belle Amie is expected to have more to offer and should run another strong race with Alexandra Egan in the saddle.
