Sturm Graz "devoured" Hearts in their 4-0 battering according to star Jurgen Heil.
Second-half surge
Wouter Vrancken's side endured a painful night in Austria and now face an almost impossible task to stay in the Champions League. The Austrians ran amok during a disastrous nine minute second half spell for the Jambos, in which they shipped three goals and all but threw away their chances of reaching the third qualifying round.
It's now highly likely they'll face a Europa League showdown with Benfica should they fail to stage a miraculous comeback at Tynecastle next week.
Heil's reaction
And Heil - who scored the fourth goal of the night - relished that Hearts couldn't cope with them in the first leg. He said: "We devoured them in that 15-minute period after the break - that was the difference. When our fans were cheering us on like that, it was a goosebumps moment. We made a few adjustments at half time and that was the key. We had far more control."
Weinhandl's view
And another Sturm goalscorer, 17-year-old talent Luca Weinhandl, agreed that their half time team talk gave them the edge. He said: "Scoring in front of our fans was very special. I will remember this night for a long time. We came out for the second half with great confidence and took control by pushing them back. And our momentum led to three more goals. But the tie is not over yet. Of course, anything can still happen. We have to stay grounded."
