New Family Bliss for Tennis Legend in Milan
Tennis icon Boris Becker has been pictured publicly for the first time with his newborn daughter, Zoe Vittoria Becker, during a relaxed stroll through Milan. The 58-year-old champion and his wife, Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, 34, appeared content as they navigated the picturesque Italian streets with their five-day-old child, just a week after the birth.
A Picturesque Milanese Stroll
Becker maintained a low profile, wearing a simple black baseball cap while pushing the pram carrying baby Zoe. His wife Lilian looked effortlessly stylish in dark sunglasses and a long coat as she enjoyed a snack during their leisurely walk. The couple, who share an apartment in the city, seemed to be embracing their new roles as parents.
The tennis star had announced his daughter's arrival on Instagram the previous Saturday, sharing the heartfelt message: 'Welcome to the world… Zoë Vittoria Becker 21.11.2025.' The birth occurred on Friday, making the newborn a special birthday gift for Becker, who celebrated his 58th birthday the following day.
A Complex Family History
This new addition marks Becker's fifth child and his first with current wife Lilian. The German athlete has experienced a complicated family journey, having been married twice previously. His first marriage to Barbara Feltus produced two children: son Noah Gabriel, now 31, born in 1994, and Elias Balthasar, born in 1999.
That marriage ended acrimoniously after Becker's highly publicised one-night stand with Russian model Angela Ermakova at London's Nobu restaurant in 1999. The subsequent divorce was finalised in 2001 with a £10 million settlement agreement.
Becker's second marriage to Dutch former model Lily Kerssenberg also concluded unhappily when the pair separated after nine years together in 2018. However, the tennis legend has since found stability and happiness with Lilian, whom he married during a lavish, three-day wedding in Portofino last September attended by 150 guests.
A Supportive Partnership Through Challenges
In a September interview with The Sunday Times, Becker spoke affectionately about his wife, noting their 'instant intellectual connection' despite their age difference. He remarked: 'Even though she's 20 years younger, I feel like she has an old soul, and I like to think my soul is a bit younger, so we met in the middle.'
Lilian has stood by Becker through significant challenges, including his bankruptcy declaration in 2017 over an unpaid £3 million loan on his Mallorca estate, which left him owing creditors nearly £50 million. She remained supportive during his 2022 imprisonment for flouting bankruptcy terms by hiding £2.5 million in assets and loans.
The couple had previously shared their pregnancy journey with followers, including a romantic 'babymoon' in Portofino last October where Lilian showcased her growing bump. Their new daughter represents a fresh chapter for the family as they embrace parenthood together in their Milan home.
