Bradley Barcola has reportedly decided to join Liverpool as the club prepares a €100m (£85m) bid for the Paris Saint-Germain winger.
Barcola chooses Liverpool over Arsenal
The French international has grown frustrated with playing a secondary role to Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue at PSG. Liverpool are the frontrunners, with Arsenal also interested but PSG unwilling to sell to a domestic rival.
According to L'Equipe, Barcola has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, meaning only a deal between the clubs remains. The Reds are pulling together the €100m offer after missing out on Yan Diomande, who is set to join Real Madrid.
Replacement for Salah
Barcola is seen as the long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who left Liverpool as a free agent at the end of the 2025/26 season after nine years at the club. He would follow Spanish winger Victor Munoz in bolstering Liverpool's attack.
Manager Andoni Iraola is expected to turn his attention to defensive reinforcements, particularly in central defence, where Virgil van Dijk, Jeremy Jacquet and the injury-prone Joe Gomez are his only options. Giovanni Leoni is sidelined with an injury sustained on his debut last autumn but is due to return.
