Wales take on the Barbarians today at Twickenham in the first match of their summer campaign, before the Nations Championship begins against Fiji next weekend. The game kicks off at 2pm, followed by Wales Women vs the Barbarians at 5pm in a double-header.
George North's Final Match
Wales legend George North plays the final match of his career after being named among the Barbarians replacements. The 32-year-old, who won 121 caps for Wales, will face his own country for the first time.
Team Changes and Debutants
Wales make eight changes to the side that beat Italy in the final Six Nations match, with 13 non-Welsh-based players unavailable. Four players are expected to make their debuts off the bench: props Rhys Barratt and Ben Warren, backrower Harrison Keddie, and lock Ryan Woodman.
Captain Jac Morgan returns to the starting lineup, while Dan Edwards starts at fly-half. The Barbarians feature a star-studded squad including Faf de Klerk as captain, Vincent Koch, and Virimi Vakatawa.
Why Twickenham?
The fixture is a home match for the Barbarians, but the Principality Stadium is unavailable this weekend due to a Metallica concert in Cardiff on Saturday night. A crowd of around 20,000 is expected at Twickenham.
According to the Welsh Rugby Union, the venue change was necessary to accommodate the band's scheduled performance. The match is being broadcast live on S4C.
