Prince Harry Takes Part in Invictus Games Demonstration Matches

Prince Harry showcased his athletic abilities at a special Invictus Games event in Birmingham on Friday, trying his hand at pickleball, laser run, and wheelchair rugby. The Duke of Sussex participated in demonstration matches at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) to mark one year until the annual tournament, which will be held in 2027.

Harry appeared in high spirits as he played pickleball, a racket sport similar to tennis, and also took part in a laser run and wheelchair rugby. The event comes days after he lost his £50 million privacy case against the publishers of the Daily Mail.

Meghan Markle Expected to Join Later

The Duchess of Sussex was absent from the event. Meghan Markle did not travel to the UK with Harry earlier this week due to security concerns, according to reports. She is expected to fly to the UK later today with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
