Nestory Irankunda said he had to tell Mohamed Touré to relax so he could finish his post-goal celebration after sending the Socceroos to a 2-0 upset victory over Turkey in their Group D World Cup match in Vancouver.
Brilliant Attack and Goal
Irankunda finished a brilliant end-to-end attack with a goal in the 27th minute, then ran to shadowbox the corner flag like former Socceroos champion Tim Cahill used to do.
Dedication to Tim Cahill
'It was a good goal in my opinion,' Irankunda said. 'I had to dedicate the celebration to Tim Cahill.'
The Socceroos stunned Turkey as Australia's youngsters shone in their opening World Cup win.
