Charles Leclerc Exposes Ferrari's Major Issue Ahead of Hungarian Grand Prix
Leclerc: Ferrari's tyre issues could ruin Hungarian GP

Charles Leclerc has sounded the alarm over Ferrari's ongoing struggles with tyre degradation, admitting the issue could severely hamper their performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The Monegasque driver, who currently sits fifth in the championship standings, revealed that the Scuderia's inability to manage tyre wear effectively has become a recurring headache for the team.

Leclerc's Frustration Grows

"It's something we've been struggling with for quite a while now," Leclerc confessed. "Every race weekend, we're fighting the same battle with tyre degradation, and it's costing us valuable positions."

The 25-year-old's comments come after Ferrari's disappointing showing at Silverstone, where both Leclerc and teammate Carlos Sainz struggled to maintain competitive pace throughout the race.

Hungarian Challenge Looms

With the Hungaroring's twisty layout traditionally punishing tyres harder than most circuits, Leclerc fears Ferrari could be in for another difficult weekend. "Hungary is particularly tough on tyres," he explained. "If we don't find a solution quickly, we might be looking at another race where we're just managing damage limitation."

The revelation casts doubt on Ferrari's ability to challenge Red Bull and Mercedes, despite showing flashes of competitiveness earlier in the season.

Technical Team Under Pressure

Ferrari's technical department now faces mounting pressure to address the tyre issues before Friday's practice sessions begin. With only one week between the British and Hungarian Grands Prix, time is of the essence for the Italian outfit.

As the Formula 1 circus moves to Budapest, all eyes will be on whether Ferrari can solve their tyre woes or if their championship aspirations will continue to unravel.
