Chelsea captain Reece James is not in the squad for Saturday's Premier League match against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge after suffering a fresh injury setback.

Manager Xabi Alonso revealed before the game that the defender had picked up a small injury during training on Friday, ruling him out of the visit of Bournemouth.
James had been expected to return to full fitness following the extended international break, along with Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Marco Palestra.
Team news
While the other four were included in the matchday squad — with Palestra named among the substitutes — James was the notable absentee from Alonso's selection.
