A fan was taken out on a stretcher during Oasis's reunion concert in Cardiff on Saturday night after falling ill. The incident occurred as the Gallagher brothers performed together for the first time in 16 years.
The medical emergency unfolded in the crowd, with an eyewitness reporting that a woman was guided across the front of the stage in the pit area during the song 'D'You Know What I Mean'. She was then escorted out by medical personnel as other concert-goers made way.
Before the show, Noel Gallagher discussed the band's enduring appeal, saying: 'A new generation recognises how Oasis wasn't manufactured. It was chaotic, and flawed, and not technically brilliant.' Liam Gallagher added his thoughts on frontmanship: 'Being able to sing is good. Just getting on with your job and doing it, and trying to get a vibe going and looking cool.'
Separately, a devoted fan revealed she had sold her ticket after Liam used a racial slur on X. He later deleted the tweet and apologised, stating: 'Sorry if I offended anyone with my tweet before it wasn't intentional you know I love you all and I do not discriminate.'
The fan, who is of Asian descent, explained: 'As a Chinese person I could not deal with it by keeping silent. I just can't participate in that anymore.' Oasis are set to embark on a global tour following the reunion.
