Jordan McCann has revealed he was paid £150,000 to have his face bashed up by Big Stacks. The rapper returned to the ring on Saturday night for his second fight under the Misfits Boxing banner. But he left it three minutes later with one eye swollen shut as Big Stacks dominated from the opening bell before the fight was stopped on the ringside doctor's orders.
McCann's post-fight reaction
McCann had previously taken on Ibiza Final Boss in June when the fight went the four-round distance and the pair could clash again in Manchester in December. But after his second defeat in three months, McCann said: "Big up Misfits; it's not just about the money, but I did get £150,000, which can help my family," he said. "But I can't fight for s***. I'm not a boxer. This is what happens; you sell yourself, but you can't play boxing. Look at my face.
"Stacks is still a sausage, but respect to him. He did his job and respect to his coach and his team, and apologies to my team. It is what it is. I should take these camps seriously, but I don't. I blag it for Instagram, but this is what happens when you play boxing. I got away with it the first time, but these 10-ounce gloves ain't a game."
Big Stacks calls out Martyn Ford
Big Stacks - whose real name is Charlie Robert and who calls himself the UK's hardest man - said after the fight: "I was too powerful, I kept catching him. It was harder than I thought it would be. I thought it would be easier so I will have to train harder for tougher opponents. I lost my skill and got into a scrap, but it was always going to be a scrap with Jordan. But I jabbed his head off and hurt him. My cardio was s*** again but I'll get better."
Asked who he wanted to fight next, he called out Martyn Ford, who is also known as the World's Strongest Man. "I'm the hardest man and I'm here to stay," he added. "Martyn Ford, he's a big donut; I want him next. He's big but he's a prick. I want to smash his head. I want to kick his head in."
