Moses Itauma will fight Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight world title tonight at the O2 Arena in London, with the opening bout scheduled for around 4:00pm UK time and ringwalks for the main event expected at roughly 10pm UK time.
The 21-year-old British fighter has risen rapidly since turning professional over three years ago, earning stoppage wins over Mariusz Wach, Demsey McKean, Mike Balogun, Dillian Whyte and Jermaine Franklin. Victory tonight would make Itauma the second youngest heavyweight world champion in history, behind only Mike Tyson.
Hrgovic seeks historic first for Croatia
Hrgovic, 34, has won five straight fights since his only professional defeat to Daniel Dubois three years ago, beating British fighters Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and Dave Allen in that run. A win would make him Croatia's first heavyweight champion.
