Red Bull has confirmed that Liam Lawson will again replace Isack Hadjar for the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. Lawson stood in for his teammate in Italy, finishing in 14th place in the standings.
Team statement on Hadjar's recovery
In a statement, the team confirmed: "After racing for the team in Zandvoort and Monza, Liam will continue to drive alongside Max at this week's Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid."
The statement added: "The decision has been taken as Isack's recovery continues to progress positively. While he is not yet ready to return to the cockpit, he will be in Madrid supporting the team."
Looking ahead to Madrid
Drivers are gearing up for next weekend's race, with a decision now made by Red Bull. The team also said: "Everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing looks forward to welcoming Isack back behind the wheel very soon."
