Charley Hull 'Proud of Her Body' After Viral Bikini Snaps

British golf star Charley Hull has said she is "proud of her body" after bikini snaps went viral on social media last month. The images teased her upcoming photoshoot with Sports Illustrated.

In the photos, Hull looked across a lake while holding a towel around her toned figure. Another snap showed her in a black robe with a swimsuit visible underneath. She also posed with friends while pulling the towel down, revealing a grey swimsuit. "I did a thing," she wrote in the caption, tagging Sports Illustrated's swimsuit page.

Sports Illustrated Feature Confirmed

A post on the Sports Illustrated website confirms Hull will appear in their 2027 edition. She will be joined by Jena Sims, Meredith Mickelson and Xandra. The swimsuit edition is an annual release featuring models, celebrities and athletes posing in swimwear at glamorous locations worldwide.

Hull is the latest athlete to appear in the magazine, following in the footsteps of Alex Morgan, Serena Williams and Ronda Rousey.

Hull Opens Up on the Experience

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Hull said: "That was so much fun, we were having mini photo shoots in the room. I thought it was a nice bikini picture, so that's why I posted it. I'm proud of my body!"

The photoshoot reportedly took place in Ibiza, the same island where Hull once nearly got a tattoo across her forehead, before a friend persuaded her to choose a less conspicuous location.

A Memorable Ibiza Story

Speaking to Golfweek, Hull recalled: "I got drunk when I was in Ibiza when I was 17-years-old. Me and my friend James went out partying." She added: "I was coming back from the club, and I thought it would be a great idea to get a tattoo across my head, because me and my best mate, James, our favourite thing we always said to each other was 'Hold tight, hold tight'."

She explained: "He wouldn't let me get it on my forehead. Instead, I got it on my foot and it says, 'hold tight.' He got a matching one on his arm."
