Wrexham claimed their first Championship win of the season with a dominant 3-0 victory over an injury-hit Millwall side on Wednesday.
The Welsh club had drawn against Cardiff and Watford before losing at home to Birmingham, but responded emphatically in south London to boost their promotion ambitions after narrowly missing out on the playoffs last term.
Goals secure emphatic win
Millwall defender Zak Sturge turned Issa Kaboré's cross into his own net for a first-half own goal. Striker Kieffer Moore then fired in from 20 yards shortly after the break, and Jacques Ekomié completed the scoring with a close-range finish.
Millwall had started the season with clean sheets in wins over Bristol City and Norwich, but have now conceded eight goals in two matches following a 5-1 defeat at Southampton on Saturday.
Injury woes and other results
The hosts also lost striker Josh Coburn and midfielder Casper De Norre to injuries during the game, adding to their fitness concerns a day after winger Femi Azeez joined Brighton for £15m.
Elsewhere, Rumarn Burrell scored twice as QPR beat Cardiff 2-1 at Loftus Road, with Perry Ng pulling one back for the visitors. The result moved Julien Stéphan's side to 10 points from their opening four matches.
Burnley held by Middlesbrough
Ugo Raghouber's first goal for Burnley earned them a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough at Turf Moor. The French midfielder, signed from Lille in July, equalised in the 54th minute from Zeki Amdouni's pass after Aidan Morris had put Middlesbrough ahead with a 23rd-minute strike from 20 yards.
Burnley, relegated from the Premier League last season, have endured a testing period that included a 4-1 loss at Norwich and the sale of Dutch forward Zian Flemming to Ipswich on transfer deadline day.
Charlton remained unbeaten despite dropping their perfect record, as Tyreece Campbell's second-half goal secured a 1-1 draw at West Brom after Callum Styles had put the hosts ahead.
