Luka Vuskovic's market value has increased significantly despite not yet playing for Tottenham Hotspur. The 19-year-old defender is currently on loan at Hamburger SV, having joined the German club last summer after officially registering as a Spurs player.
Tottenham agreed a deal to sign Vuskovic in 2023 when he was 16 at Hajduk Split. He moved to north London last summer and was immediately loaned to Hamburg to gain first-team experience. According to the CIES Football Observatory, his current market value is between €42 million (£36.3 million) and €49 million (£42.3 million), a potential £9.6 million increase from €37.8 million (£32.7 million) reported in August.
Vuskovic is expected to return to Tottenham this summer, but his future is uncertain due to the club's precarious league position. Spurs sit 18th in the Premier League, in the relegation zone with four games remaining. They are two points behind West Ham and face Aston Villa on Sunday.
The young centre-back has been dealing with a knee contusion during his loan, spending three weeks sidelined. Hamburger SV manager Merlin Polzin provided an encouraging update, noting Vuskovic participated in a light recovery session. He returned as a late substitute in Hamburg's 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, his 28th appearance this season.
Vuskovic has also featured four times for Croatia and aims to represent his nation at this summer's World Cup.
