Destiny Udogie was left out of the Tottenham squad to face Coventry on Monday night due to a knee injury, Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed.
The Italian started last week's 1-1 draw at Manchester United but was withdrawn in the second half. De Zerbi has now confirmed he suffered a knee injury at Old Trafford.
De Zerbi explains Udogie absence
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of kick-off, De Zerbi said: "Destiny Udogie played 70 minutes and he suffered a problem in his knee and we didn't take a risk."
Udogie joins Pedro Porro, Savio and Lucas Bergvall on the Tottenham treatment table.
Injury list grows for Tottenham
The full-back's absence adds to Tottenham's growing list of sidelined players as the team prepares for the visit of Coventry.
