Tottenham Consider Action Over Arsenal Fan Staff Jokes

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering disciplinary action against a newly appointed academy scout who made jokes about the club on social media. Neros Coachman, a self-confessed Arsenal fan, shared his appointment on Instagram and later responded to comments mocking the club.

Coachman joked about being an 'inside man' and not wanting the Tottenham badge to touch his skin. One commenter posted a snake emoji, to which he replied: 'I know, I know, it’s deserved haha.' The posts were spotted by Spurs fans and shared widely on X.

According to the Daily Mail, the club are 'deeply unimpressed' and considering action. Coachman has since made his Instagram account private, but not before his responses were screenshotted. He later wrote: 'Yes I'm an Arsenal fan and yes I was joking with friends.'

The timing is awkward for Tottenham, who lost 4-1 to Arsenal recently and sit 16th in the Premier League, four points above the relegation zone. They have not won in 10 league matches. Igor Tudor has replaced Thomas Frank as manager but has started with back-to-back defeats.
