The contentious gathering took place on February 3, with club representatives, including Chief Executive Vinai Venkatesham, meeting members of the THST. This occurred in the final days of Thomas Frank's tenure, who was dismissed earlier this month after a poor run of form. According to the Trust, the club edited the published minutes to remove several significant points that were discussed during the session.
Omitted Fan Concerns
Among the lines allegedly excised was a statement indicating that the club "welcomed the input" of the THST. Additionally, sections expressing fan anxiety over the risk of relegation from the Premier League were reportedly deleted. Supporters highlighted that the optimism generated from last season's Europa League victory had dissipated, replaced by widespread pessimism.
Specific omitted passages included: "Fans are concerned at the current position and the direction of the club. The team is not winning, and change is not visible. Having watched just four home league wins in a year, this anxiety and pessimism is not surprising."
Further concerns left out of the minutes revolved around a perceived lack of ambition, poor results and performances, and the failure to strengthen the squad despite injuries to key players. Issues regarding the development of young talent, the club's profitability, and unclear on-field targets linked to strategic principles were also reportedly excluded.
