Tottenham secured their first Premier League win of the season on Monday, beating Coventry 3-1 at home.
James Maddison, making his first start since April 2025, opened the scoring with a curled effort. Omar Marmoush and Ben Davies added second-half goals, while Jack Rudoni had equalised for Coventry.
Costly victory
The win came at a price, with Marmoush, Andy Robertson and Tosin Adarabioyo all forced off through injury.
There was a positive moment when Dejan Kulusevski came off the bench for his first competitive appearance since May 2025.
