Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump Share Rare Public Affection at Genesis Invitational
Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump Cozy Up at Golf Tournament

In a notable public appearance, golf icon Tiger Woods and his girlfriend Vanessa Trump were spotted sharing a cozy moment at the Genesis Invitational, held at the prestigious Riviera Country Club in greater Los Angeles. The tournament, which is organized by the Tiger Woods Foundation, stands as one of the most anticipated events on the PGA Tour calendar each year.

A Rare Display of Affection

A video shared on TikTok captured the couple arm-in-arm for a photo opportunity beside a statue of golf legend Ben Hogan. Woods, beaming with a smile, posed for the flick as Vanessa, the former spouse of Donald Trump Jr and mother to rising golf star Kai Trump, rested her head near his shoulder. In a rare public display of affection, she was later seen wrapping him tighter in her arms, highlighting their close bond.

Family Moments and Tournament Highlights

The couple then brought Kai Trump into the frame for additional family photos, blending personal and professional spheres. As the sponsor of the event through his foundation, Woods was on hand to present the trophy to winner Jacob Bridgeman, who secured his first PGA Tour victory by fending off competitors Kurt Kitayama and Rory McIlroy.

Woods Hints at Masters Comeback

During the Saturday broadcast of the tournament, Woods addressed speculation about his return to competitive golf, admitting "there is" a chance he could play in time for The Masters in April. Joking about the annual Champions Dinner, he said, "I know I'll be there... Trev and I are going to be part of a great dinner," and added, "I know a lot of people that are playing."

Uncertainty and Challenges

When questioned if he would compete in a tournament before The Masters, Woods expressed uncertainty, stating, "I don't know. Whether it's regular tour, senior tour, or member-guest, I don't know!" The 50-year-old, a five-time Masters champion with his last win in 2019, recently revealed he is back to hitting full shots but joked to CBS, "I don't feel 50 - I feel a hell of a lot older." He added, "It's good to be back a little bit, I just wish I could be out here this week playing with these guys."

Health and Future Prospects

This is not the first time Woods has hinted at a possible return to Augusta National. Earlier in the week, he suggested an appearance is not off the table, despite his last official event being the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon. Discussing his health, Woods explained, "I'm trying, put it that way. The disc replacement has been one thing. I've had a fused back and now a disc replacement, so it's challenging."

Adapting to a New Decade

Entering his fifties, Woods acknowledged the age factor, saying, "And now I entered a new decade, so that number is starting to sink in and has us thinking about the opportunity to be able to play in a cart." He clarified that while he wouldn't use a cart on the PGA Tour due to his beliefs, it's an option on the Champions Tour, indicating potential adaptations for his future in golf.
