Swansea City remain unbeaten and top of the Championship, despite being held to a tense goalless draw by Welsh rivals Wrexham at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Chances were few and far between during a scrappy and nervy affair under the lights, with both sets of fans doing their bit to generate a great atmosphere.
Substitutes Zan Vipotnik and Kieffer Moore both nearly served up some late drama by missing good opportunities for their respective sides.
Stingiest defence in the league
On the whole, a draw was probably a fair result, and Swansea end the evening with the stingiest defence in the league, having conceded just one goal. The result also puts Swansea a point clear at the top of the league.
Nevertheless, it was Wrexham's summer signing Callum O'Hare, one of five changes from the 3-0 demolition of Millwall in midweek, who saw the first chance midway into a tense first half. However, he was unable to turn home Danny Imray's cross inside the six-yard box.
Melker Widell, one of three Swansea changes from the win over Watford, similarly wasted his side's best opportunity of the opening 45, poking a shot into a Wrexham defender inside the box.
Late drama and chances
O'Hare spurned a golden chance just after the break, firing just wide after Sam Smith's knock down. Adam Idah netted a dramatic late winner when these two sides last met in these parts, but there was no repeat for the Irishman here as he was replaced by Zan Vipotnik.
Wrexham came close again heading into the last 20 minutes. Josh Windass drilled in a low shot that was deflected into the path of Max Cleworth, but he couldn't turn in from close range.
Vipotnik then slid in to meet Moussa Yeo's low cross after Stephen Eustaquio's superb pass 10 minutes from time, but his effort was poked straight at Anthony Patterson. Fellow substitute Joseph Opoku also hit an effort straight at the former Sunderland man with a tame strike from the edge of the box.
Stoppage-time saves
Kieffer Moore, who was given a warm reception when he came off the bench earlier in the evening due to his Cardiff City connections, then forced a good save from Lawrence Vigouroux in stoppage-time with a rasping volley.
Elijah Just then hit a volley of his own into the arms of Patterson with effectively the final kick of the game, as both sides were made to settle for a share of the points.
