Harley Pearce, son of former England footballer Stuart Pearce, dies in tractor crash at 21

Harley Pearce, the 21-year-old son of former England footballer Stuart Pearce, has died in a tractor collision in the Cotswolds.

The crash occurred on 16 October on the A417 at Old Birdlip Hill in Witcombe, near Gloucester. Gloucestershire police confirmed he died at the scene.

Harley, who lived in Marlborough, Wiltshire, worked in farming. In a family statement, he was described as a "cherished son and devoted brother" with an "infectious smile" and a "wonderful work ethic".

Stuart Pearce, who earned 78 caps for England and managed the national side in 2012, has received tributes from his former clubs Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Manchester City.

Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the collision.
